I noticed a dramatic improvement in my pain …

I was in a minor bicycling accident in September of 1999. Although I did not realize it at the time, my pelvis became misaligned and insidiously strained the muscles and bones in my left hip. In December of 1999, I became unable to perform my duties as a registered nurse because of the constant pain. My hip problem was discovered and diagnosed after several months of seeing numerous doctors. Treatment included several months of physical therapy and I was able to return to work after 4 months. Because I could not withstand the physicality of being a floor nurse, I had to change job positions. In the several years that followed my injury, I grew accustomed to intermittent sharp, shooting pains that would occur without warning. I started to develop arthritic type pain that was sensitive to weather and activity; I was only 31 years old but my hip felt a lot older.

My sister has been a patient of Dr. Erickson for many years and had urged me a few times to give chiropractic care a try. For whatever reason, I never seemed to get around to it. As the frequency of my pain became worse, she reminded me once again. I found the time. Originally I saw Dr. Erickson twice a week. Within three weeks I noticed a dramatic improvement in my pain. Within six weeks, I was seeing him once a week and able to exercise without the pain that would normally follow. I was weaned off frequent visits and am now able to go eight weeks between appointments. Although this in of itself is an indication of the benefits of chiropractic care, what is even more of a statement is how I feel during the time between appointments: pain free.

I want to thank you for all you have done for my family. In such a short time you have accomplished more than I ever thought would be possible. As a Registered Nurse, I know that there is a wide range of competency among specialists. My life and my health have changed for the better…

I have never felt soooo good! NO MORE HEADACHES!

When I walked into Dr. Kenneth Erickson’s office I was in excruciating pain from my hip all the way down my leg on my left side. It was so bad that pain medication didn’t help. After only a couple of treatments the improvement was drastic! With each visit it only gets better and better. I also want to thank Dori who gave me the massages that stimulated the circulation in my legs. I have never felt soooo good! BUT WAIT, something I wasn’t even expecting, NO MORE HEADACHES! I had to walk with the use of a cane. I walked out of the office without it!

Prior to treatment with Dr. Erickson I was in constant low back pain and had been increasing for the previous 2 weeks. I was leaning completely forward and to the left because of the pain. I had to walk with the use of a cane. I walked out of the office without it! I was completely straight and the pain had already decreased 30%.

It was like a miracle!

At present most all sensation of pain has disappeared ...

[Before receiving treatment from Dr. Erickson] I experienced pressure across the base of my skull. Pain radiated down the right side of my neck, across the top right side of my shoulders and the upper back. It extended into the upper right arm to the elbow, but also radiated down into the right hand on occasion. At times my left shoulder was affected. I also suffered from osteoarthritis in both knees and sciatica which started several years earlier.

At present most all sensation of pain has disappeared (at least 95%). The range of motion in my right arm and shoulder has improved dramatically.

Dr. Erickson has been very informative concerning my condition and progress all along. He has been very helpful and encouraging to me regarding his techniques and the benefits of regular chiropractic care and massage therapy. The staff is very competent and accommodating. My treatment has been a very friendly and positive experience.

On the first visit to Dr. Erickson I was miraculously healed!

For over 20 years I had a condition in my jaw, mouth and ears that kept me in pain most of the time. I was advised by my dentist to wear a night guard the rest of my life, but this did not give me any improvement. Sometimes the pain was so severe that I had to have a liquid diet. Eventually, I was referred to a surgeon, but refused to have surgery.

On the first visit to Dr. Erickson I was miraculously healed! The pain went away and now I can chew normally.

My life changed when I walked into Dr. Erickson’s office ...

A combination of Active Release Technique (ART) and careful chiropractic adjustments has relieved many years of pain. During the past 10 years, moderate to severe pain in my entire back and my right hip has increased in intensity to unbearable proportions. I have been treated by M.D.s, other chiropractors, physical therapists, sports medicine specialists and massage therapists to no avail.

The numbness in my hand seemed to go away...

I was diagnosed with Carpal Tunnel Syndrome earlier this year and so the neurologist suggested that I should make an appointment with the surgeon. I have been amazed at how effective the ART therapy is ...

When I first went to see Dr. Erickson, I was in constant pain from 'computer neck'. I have seen a number of chiropractors over the years, and none of them have spent as much time patiently diagnosing my symptoms as Dr. Ken Erickson. Because he cares ....

Can you believe that four years have passed since Tom and I became your patients? I will never forget that day when we entered your office for the first time. Tom was unable to walk. I had given him my crutches, but he would use only one. Therefore, upon trying to get out of the car by himself, he spun around on the one crutch and almost killed himself.

When we left your office that morning, he was able to walk on his own. I made a comment regarding the fantastic care you had given. Tom’s answer was, "because he cares".

Of course, I will be forever grateful for the care and the “healing path” that you helped me follow not only physically, but emotionally as well. I have always had Tom’s support, but sometimes it takes someone outside of the family to re-enforce and be a good cheerleader, too.

My headaches decreased dramatically ...

My name is Emily. I am 17 years old. I started getting headaches about three years ago. As time passed they got worse. I would wake up with a headache every morning and I was getting migraines often. My head would hurt so badly that I would get sick to my stomach and throw up. I thought it was my sinuses, so I started taking Tylenol Sinus every day.

My mom thought it might be my eyes. I went to the eye doctor and found that I did need glasses for reading at school. The headaches continued. I then went to a nose and ear and throat doctor. He ordered a CAT scan of my sinuses, and everything showed up normal. I went to an allergist, and I wound up taking allergy shots twice a week. My headaches still got worse.

My family has been going to Dr. Erickson for years and he has prevented two surgeries from happening: one on my mom’s knee and the other on my dad’s shoulder. So my mom and dad brought me to see Dr. Erickson - they thought that the headaches could be because of neck problems I have from playing sports. Within about two months my headaches decreased dramatically, and now I rarely take any sinus medicine.

My whole outlook on life improved overnight

I feel great! After hobbling around at work for the past few weeks and holding the wall whenever I needed to bend or stoop, and not even being able to hold my lightweight briefcase without pain, I walked in the office today, leaped into the air and dropped into a sitting position on the floor then jumped back into a standing position – all without using my hands or arms. Then I easily picked up a large box that contained a scanner and remembered how heavy my coffee cup was last week.
